Overview of Programs
There are two treatment tracks at The PTSD and Anxiety Center
•The PTSD/Trauma Track
•OCD/Anxiety Track.
PTSD/Trauma Track:
Our PTSD/Trauma Track may be a fit for you if you are struggling with any of the symptoms listed below:
- Panic/intense anxiety about memories, thoughts, feelings in relation to the traumatic events
- Hypervigilance
- Nightmares
- Depression
- Social isolation
- Avoidance of memories, behaviors, thoughts, feelings
- Suicidal ideations
- Self harm
- Negative sense of self/loss of identity
- Dissociation
- Mood swings
- Guilt/shame
- Impulsivity
- Emotional dysregulation Hopelessness
- Impaired social relationships
PTSD/Trauma Track Treatment consists of:
- 24 weeks of 1 hour DBT skills group which includes
- Mindfulness
- Emotions regulation
- Distress tolerance
- Interpersonal communication
- (held only virtual on Fridays 3-4pm currently)
- 1 hour weekly individual sessions
- Skills phone coaching
- Team consults
- Option to add on individual trauma sensitive yoga weekly or monthly
- 1 year commitment (renewal up to 3 years)
OR
The Prolonged Exposure trauma track
- 1 weekly 90 min imaginal exposure session
- 1 weekly 60 min in vivo exposure session
- 6 month commitment
OCD/Anxiety Track:
Our OCD/Anxiety Track may be a good fit for you if you are struggling with any of the symptoms listed below:
- Difficulty tolerating uncertainty
- Fears, obsessions, rituals that get in the way of daily living
- Compulsive behaviors
- Persistent repetition of words or actions
- Panic
- Agitation
- Social isolation
- Guilt/Shame
- Unwanted thoughts
OCD/Anxiety Track Treatment consists of:
- 2 individual sessions a week for one hour
- Option to add a 3rd session for community exposures (adding a 3rd session would be self pay)
- 1 year commitment (renewal up to 3 years)
